Booking Policy

Please read the following carefully before making a booking. By securing an appointment with Styled by Tiki, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.


1. Appointments & Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit of 15% of the total service cost is required to secure all appointments.
  • Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
  • Your deposit is applied toward the total service cost.
  • The remaining balance must be paid on the day of your appointment, upon completion of the service.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of the appointment will result in forfeiture of deposit.
  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the service fee.
  • Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • If you wish to rebook after a forfeited deposit, a new deposit will be required.

3. Late Policy

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment.
  • A grace period of 10 minutes is allowed.
  • After the grace period, a late fee of £10 per 10 minutes will apply.
  • If you are more than 20 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

4. No-Show Policy

  • Failure to attend your appointment without notice will be considered a no-show.
  • No-shows are charged 100% of the service fee.
  • Clients with repeated no-shows may be blocked from future bookings.

5. Early & Late Appointment Hours

  • Appointments booked before 8:00 AM or after 7:00 PM are subject to an additional out-of-hours fee of £10.
  • Out-of-hours availability is at the stylist's discretion.

6. Hair Preparation

To ensure the best results and a smooth appointment, please observe the following:

  • Your natural hair must be clean, dry, and free of oils or products unless otherwise advised.
  • Styled by Tiki does not offer washing services. Please ensure your hair is washed and tidied before your appointment.
  • Any additional detangling, preparation, or removal services not booked in advance may incur an extra fee.
  • If your hair is not properly prepared, your appointment may be delayed or cancelled.

7. Wigs & Lace Requirements

It is strongly recommended that you drop off your wig 2–3 days before your appointment date to allow for smoother and faster service.

Accepted lace types:

  • Natural hairline
  • Small knots
  • Light brown lace, Swiss lace, transparent lace, or HD lace

Not accepted:

  • Laces with thick knots or hard lace
  • Coloured lace (black, grey, red, etc.)
  • Laces that have been badly cut by a previous stylist
  • Laces with glue residue or hair product build-up — please clean and wash your wig before dropping it off or bringing it to your appointment
  • T-frontal wigs are not accepted

Clients are responsible for ensuring wigs are ready and suitable for the selected service. Styled by Tiki is not responsible for wigs purchased elsewhere that are damaged due to prior condition.

8. Custom Units & Special Requests

  • All customisation requests must be discussed and agreed before the appointment.
  • Additional services requested on the day must be paid for immediately.

9. Guests & Children

  • No extra guests or children are permitted unless previously agreed.
  • This ensures a calm, professional working environment for all clients.

10. Payments

  • All prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling (£ GBP).
  • Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Additional services requested on the day must be paid for immediately.

11. Refund Policy

  • No refunds are offered on services rendered.
  • If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of the service, concerns must be raised during the appointment, not after leaving.
  • Adjustments may be offered at the stylist's discretion.

12. Health & Safety

  • Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or scalp issues prior to your appointment.
  • Styled by Tiki reserves the right to refuse service if a condition may compromise safety or results.

13. Right to Refuse Service

Styled by Tiki reserves the right to refuse service to anyone displaying:

  • Disrespectful behaviour
  • Poor hygiene
  • Aggressive or inappropriate conduct
